Hansi Flick selected his first Clásico victory at the Santiago Bernabéu as his favorite memory with Barcelona, after reaching his 100th win with the Catalan club.
The German manager’s comments came following the resounding victory over Deportivo Alavés, which put the team back on winning tracks following consecutive defeats against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
“I have many special memories from my first 100 wins with Barcelona, but the best was the first Clásico victory,” Flick said.
He added: “In Madrid, the 4-0 win at the Bernabéu. It was amazing, and it always brings positive thoughts to mind.”
That match dates back to October 2024, when Robert Lewandowski scored twice, with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha adding two more to give Flick a dream start in his official encounters against Real Madrid.
His 100th victory came with the 6-1 win against Alavés, reaching the milestone in just 131 official matches—a win rate of 76.33%, the highest among Barcelona managers according to the club’s official website.
Flick became the second-fastest manager in Barcelona’s history to reach 100 victories, behind Luis Enrique (126 matches) and ahead of Pep Guardiola, who achieved the feat in 139 matches.
