Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to set a high asking price for any club seeking to sign Pedro Porro, as Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid closely monitor the right-back.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Spain’s top two clubs continue to track the player as part of their options to reinforce the position, though neither side has made a final decision on whether to launch a move during the winter transfer window.
The London club intends to demand around €65 million to sanction his departure—an amount that would present a significant financial hurdle for any potential January deal.
The report noted that neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid have yet decided if they are willing to make such a substantial investment in a right-back mid-season, leaving the matter in the observation and option-evaluation phase.
Tottenham hold a strong negotiating position after announcing last June that Porro signed a new long-term contract. Furthermore, the player retains the full trust of manager Roberto De Zerbi, who views him as a crucial component of the team’s project.
The Spanish international made 47 appearances across all competitions last season—more than any other player in the squad—raising his overall total at the time of the contract extension to 152 appearances since joining from Sporting CP in January 2023.
Porro was also instrumental in Tottenham’s UEFA Europa League triumph in the 2024–2025 season, scoring in the second leg of the semi-final against Bodø/Glimt before starting in the final victory against Manchester United.
