Announcing the Nominees for the 2025 Club of the Year

Competition is fierce for the 2025 Club of the Year award, presented by France Football, based on achievements over the past year.

Paris Saint-Germain is the first and most likely candidate to win this award, following a historic last season in which the team achieved the domestic treble and reached the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, featuring highly entertaining football under the leadership of coach Luis Enrique and a constellation of the world’s best players.

PSG is competing with Barcelona, the resurgent club under coach Hansi Flick, who won the domestic treble against Real Madrid and reached the Champions League semi-finals.

English Premier League champions Liverpool and fourth-placed and world champions Chelsea are among the nominees for the 2025 award.

From outside Europe, Botafogo, the Brazilian club that won the last Copa Libertadores, reached the round of 16 at the FIFA Club World Cup, and won the Brazilian league title, are also among the contenders.
