Job Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham, has decided to follow in his brother’s footsteps.
The news here is that the Sunderland star has decided to leave the English club this summer and join Borussia Dortmund, just as Jude did in his early days.
After Jude’s talents emerged with Birmingham City, Dortmund bought him in 2020 for €30 million. The English star’s talents exploded to the point that Real Madrid paid €100 million for him in the summer of 2023.
The same thing is happening now with 19-year-old Jube, who received numerous offers after his impressive performances with Sunderland, but chose to move to Borussia Dortmund.
According to German media, Dortmund will pay €30 million to sign Jube, and negotiations are currently underway with Sunderland, which is holding on to the €40 million release clause.
Job contributed to Sunderland’s promotion to the Premier League this season, playing 43 matches, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
Unlike his brother, Job is a more defensive player, playing primarily in the defensive midfield position, utilizing his physical strength and height.
