Brahim Diaz after choosing to represent Morocco: I am 100% Spanish!

Brahim Diaz, the Real Madrid player, believes that he made the right decision to represent the Moroccan national team instead of the Spanish national team in the next period of his career.

Diaz was born to a Moroccan father and a Spanish mother, and he represented “La Roja” in one international match, before he decided to change his sports nationality and play with the Walid Regragui battalion.

In an interview with Cadena Ser, Diaz was asked about this matter, and he replied, “In fact, my heart is divided between the two countries. I feel that I am 100% Spanish, and I also feel that I am 100% Moroccan.”

He also added, “I did not choose Morocco to put pressure on Spain and force them to include me in the team. This is not true.”

He concluded, “I am 100% convinced that I made the right decision in my career to represent Morocco.”

When asked about the possibility of celebrating a goal he scored for Morocco against Spain, the Real Madrid star simply stressed that he “does not know” what he will do then.

It is noteworthy that Diaz’s career will begin with Morocco by facing Angola and Mauritania in a friendly match during the international break, which will begin on March 18.
