The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has announced the dates for the 2025-26 Saudi King’s Cup semi-final matches.
The draw pitted defending champions Al-Ittihad against Al-Kholoud, the dark horse of the “most prestigious cup,” while the other semi-final will see Al-Ahli, the most decorated club in the competition, take on Al-Hilal.
The King’s Cup semi-finals are traditionally held in April, with the final taking place in May. However, the congested schedule this season, coinciding with the 2026 World Cup in June, has necessitated bringing the dates forward.
Al-Ittihad will face Al-Kholoud at Al-Hazm Club Stadium on March 16th at 10:00 PM Mecca time, while Al-Ahli will play Al-Hilal at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (The Shining Jewel) on March 17th, also at 10:00 PM.
The date for the King’s Cup final has not yet been determined, although it is most likely to be held next April, or, as is customary, after the end of the Saudi League season, around the end of May 2026.
It is worth noting that Al-Ittihad are the current holders of the Saudi King’s Cup title, having defeated Al-Qadisiyah 3-1 in last year’s final. Sergio Conceição’s men also eliminated Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, defeating the latter 2-1 in the quarter-finals at Al-Ittihad Park.
