Arda Güler continued his impressive recent form, scoring a stunning goal for Real Madrid against Celta Vigo in the 34th round of La Liga on Saturday.
Carlo Ancelotti fielded the Turkish star in the starting lineup in the absence of Rodrygo Goes due to injury, and Güler took advantage of the opportunity to showcase his talent.
Güler received the ball inside the Celta Vigo penalty area and unleashed an unstoppable shot to score Real Madrid’s first goal.
After the goal, Güler may have wanted to send a message to fans and the media about his future. He celebrated by pointing to his Real Madrid shirt, a gesture that indicated he was staying at the Santiago Bernabéu next season and striving to achieve his stated goal: to make history in Madrid.

This was Güler’s third goal this season for Real Madrid in La Liga, and his fifth overall, following two other goals in the Copa del Rey.
Overall, Guler has 13 goal contributions this season, having assisted eight goals and scored five others.
Ancelotti previously stated that he believes Guler is better suited to midfield than on the wings, indicating that the player is undoubtedly the future of Real Madrid if he continues at this pace.
With Ancelotti’s expected departure, Guler’s chances of playing next season will increase, especially since new coach Xabi Alonso is a huge fan of the player and tried to bring him to Bayer Leverkusen last summer.
