Surprise.. Liverpool decides to replace Mohamed Salah with another Egyptian player

It seems that Egyptians will continue to follow Liverpool’s matches even if Mohamed Salah leaves the Reds next summer, as the English club seeks to replace him with another Egyptian player.

Salah is receiving great interest from Saudi League clubs, with confirmations that Liverpool are ready to sell the player for 100 million pounds sterling.

According to what was reported by the newspaper “Bild”, the new CEO of Liverpool, Michael Edwards, is setting his sights on signing Omar Marmoush, the Eintracht Frankfurt player.

Edwards put Marmoush’s name as Liverpool’s first choice to sign him next summer, even if Salah continues, given that there is a great possibility that Luis Diaz, in particular, will leave Anfield.

The Egyptian international welcomes joining the Reds next summer, and Eintracht Frankfurt is not expected to object to selling him, but the German club has set the necessary price for this deal at approximately 45 million pounds sterling.

This is not the first time that Marmoush has received great interest from English Premier League clubs. Last summer, he was close to Brentford and Tottenham, before deciding to join Frankfurt for free.

At the same time, Edwards believes that Marmoush can complete what Salah started at Anfield, and that the 25-year-old’s abilities can explode strongly, as happened with the “Egyptian King” since 2017.

It is noteworthy that this season, Marmoush scored 15 goals with Frankfurt and assisted 6 others in 32 matches he played in all tournaments.
