Barcelona star Rafinha expressed his delight at the Blaugrana’s 5-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final, asserting that Hansi Flick’s squad is ready to face any opponent in the final.
Rafinha scored two goals and provided an assist in Barcelona’s five-goal haul in Bilbao. Regarding this, he commented, “I would never say I’m at my absolute best, because I push myself to achieve a near-perfect season.”
He added, “Playing against Bilbao isn’t easy; they have many talented players who can decide matches, but it depends on us, regardless of whether the opponent is strong or easy.”
Barça will face the winner of the Atlético Madrid vs. Real Madrid match in the Super Cup final next Sunday at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (The Shining Jewel).
When asked about Barcelona’s opponent in the final, Rafinha replied, “We have to focus on ourselves, regardless of who wins the other semi-final. We are ready for any opponent.”
