Mikel Arteta turned Arsenal’s 3–0 opening-day victory over Coventry City into a historic personal milestone, securing his 150th Premier League win as a manager.
The defending champions kicked off their title defense with a dominant display at the Emirates Stadium. Kai Havertz opened the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by second-half goals from Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard to lock in the three points.
It took Arteta just 249 matches to reach 150 Premier League victories, making him the fifth-fastest manager in the competition’s history to hit the milestone before reaching 250 games.
