Guardiola confirms the readiness of another star for the Real Madrid match

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola announced that Kevin De Bruyne is ready to participate in Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final match next Wednesday.

The Belgian international missed the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium due to a sudden feeling of fatigue and nausea.

A few days later, De Bruyne participated in only 10 minutes of the match against Luton Town in the Premier League, in which City won 5-1.

According to Guardiola, the 32-year-old has fully recovered from his pain and is ready to lead his team to the expected summit, where City has no alternative but to win to qualify for the semi-finals.

De Bruyne became the third player to return to Guardiola’s squad after missing the first leg, as Ederson and Kyle Walker became ready for the match, and finally De Bruyne.

It is noteworthy that the first leg in the Spanish capital ended 3-3, and either team needs to win the second leg at Etihad Stadium to advance to the semi-finals after the away goal rule was canceled for the third year in a row.
