For the second time, Stuttgart challenges Bayern Munich and refuses to sell Woltemade

Stuttgart has rejected Bayern Munich’s second offer to sign Nick Woltemade during the current summer transfer window, leaving the southern club to stick to its refusal to part with its star player, regardless of the temptations.

Bayern made its first offer to Stuttgart for Woltemade last week, offering the 21-year-old €40 million to be paid in installments over four years. Within hours, Swabians responded with a refusal.

According to Bild, Bayern Munich returned with an improved offer on Wednesday evening, offering Stuttgart €50 million for Woltemade, plus another €5 million in variables, plus a 10% future resale percentage.

Stuttgart responded firmly by rejecting Bayern Munich’s offer, hours after sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth spoke to the media and confirmed that Woltemadewould stay and that his departure would only be met with an unmissable offer.

German media outlets close to Stuttgart indicated that the club values its top scorer at at least €65 million, while Bayern Munich has no intention of bidding for such a large sum yet.

It’s worth noting that Liverpool rejected a substantial €67.5 million bid from Bayern Munich in recent days for Luis Diaz, and it appears that Bayern’s position is extremely complicated this summer in terms of bolstering their attack with world-class players.
