Virgil van Dijk saved Liverpool from a draw against Atletico Madrid with a last-gasp goal in the 92nd minute of the match at Anfield.
Liverpool led 2-0 in the first six minutes, and everyone thought it would be an easy task for the Reds, but Marcos Llorente stepped in and completely changed the game.
The Spanish international scored a goal to reduce the deficit in the final minute of the first half, then scored the second goal himself in the 81st minute with a stunning volley.

But Van Dijk eventually ended this curse. Instead of dropping two valuable points in the first Champions League match of the season, the Dutchman scored the winning goal with a perfect header in the 92nd minute.
It can be said that Liverpool has become a specialist in winning in the dying moments. In five matches this season, they have scored the winning goal in the last 10 minutes!
Federico Chiesa scored the winner against Bournemouth in the 88th minute, while the winner against Newcastle came in the 100th minute.
