Bayern Munich Gem: I Dream of Joining Real Madrid

Lennart Karl, one of Bayern Munich’s most promising talents of the last decade, has confirmed that he dreams of joining Real Madrid at some point in his career.

Karl has emerged as a major player this season at the age of 17 after Vincent Kompany gave him regular playing time, and he has quickly become one of the most prominent and important young players in the world, even being compared to Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.

In a media interview, Carl was asked about his career plans, to which he replied, “Bayern Munich is a huge club, it’s a dream to play here, but at some point in my career, I definitely want to move to Real Madrid.”

He added, “Real Madrid is my dream club, but Bayern Munich is definitely something very special and it’s great to be here.”

Karl is currently under contract with Bayern Munich until 2028 after receiving a significant pay rise when he renewed his contract last August, and it is unlikely that the German club will allow him to leave anytime soon.

Perhaps with the end of Karl’s contract and his approaching 20th birthday, or even a little before, he might attract the interest of Real Madrid, who have always preferred to sign young players to build upon for the future.

It’s worth noting that the German player has featured in 22 matches for Bayern Munich across all competitions this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists.
