Bayern Munich Attacks Donnarumma: Fat Man Lacks Sportsmanship!

Bayern Munich, through its management and players, launched a fierce attack against Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after his violent tackle that led to Jamal Musiala’s injury.

The German player left the Paris Saint-Germain-Bayern Munich match in tears after the horrific injury, which was diagnosed as a fracture in his left fibula and damaged several ligaments. He will be out for at least six months.

Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said of Donnarumma’s tackle, “When you jump on a running player’s leg and you weigh 100 kg, there is a great risk.”

He added, “I think he intended to hurt Musiala, but he wasn’t careful enough.”

Manuel Neuer was more vocal in his criticism of the Italian goalkeeper, describing him as unsportsmanlike for his indifference to Musiala’s pain.

Neuer said, “The situation didn’t call for intervention in that way. That was a risk. He was willing to take the risk of injuring his opponent.”

He continued, “I went to him and said, ‘Don’t you want to go and see our player? It’s a matter of respect. You go to him and wish him well, and then he did it.'”

He concluded, “Fair play is always part of it. I would have acted differently.”

Musiala had just returned from a muscle injury that had kept him out of action for the past three months with Bayern Munich. The club had decided to give him the number 10 shirt, as he was the current star of the Bavarians. The injury ruined his season and even put his participation in the 2026 World Cup in doubt.
