Real Madrid captain and legend Fernando Hierro has urged the club’s management to sign Mohamed Salah next season, believing the “Egyptian King” could bring a special quality to Los Blancos’ attack.
After two consecutive seasons without silverware, Real Madrid is seeking a complete overhaul that will see the departure of several prominent players. At the same time, the management is exploring options to strengthen the squad with major signings. Among the names frequently mentioned is Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool star who is set to leave his current club at the end of this season.
When asked about the possibility of signing Salah, Hierro replied, “Why not? Of course I’d love to. Mohamed Salah is an exceptional player in every sense of the word.”
He added, “No one can deny his enormous impact at Liverpool and the achievements he has attained. I’d love to see him at Real Madrid; anything is possible in football.”
“Salah is the kind of player any club in the world would want to sign,” he continued. “He’s exceptional and has a direct impact on the game. He’s not just a great player, he’s a true football phenomenon who makes a difference wherever he goes.”
The former captain added, “Imagine him in La Liga, whether with Real Madrid or Barcelona. He would give the competition a huge boost thanks to his quality, experience, and adaptability.”
He concluded, “In short, Salah is a top-class player by all accounts, and any club in the world would be proud to have him… Why not see him at Real Madrid someday? Anything is possible.”
