Zamalek will enter their Confederation Cup match against ZESCO United missing three players due to injuries.
The White Knights will host the Zambian club at Cairo International Stadium on Sunday evening in the first round of the group stage.
According to Egyptian media reports, Ahmed Rabie, Mahmoud Bentayeg, and Mohamed Ismail will miss the ZESCO match.
Rabie is suffering from a hamstring injury, while Mohamed Ismail has a bruise on his lower knee, and Bentayeg is experiencing hamstring strain.
Apart from these three, Zamalek will have a full squad for the ZESCO match, with Ahmed Abdel Raouf in charge of managing the team.
It is worth noting that Zamalek has been drawn into the “group of death” in the Confederation Cup, alongside ZESCO, Al Masry, and South Africa’s Kaizer Chiefs.
