The Egyptian Football Association has announced the referees who will officiate the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup semi-final matches, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Al Ahly will face Ceramica Cleopatra on Thursday in the first semi-final at 5:00 PM Egypt time, followed by the highly anticipated clash between Zamalek and Pyramids at Al Nahyan Stadium at 7:30 PM.
For the Al Ahly vs. Ceramica match, international referee Mahmoud El Banna will officiate, assisted by Ahmed Hossam Taha and Hany Khairy. Mahmoud Ashour will be in charge of VAR, assisted by Khaled Hussein, while Badr Boujamhour will serve as the fourth official.
For the Zamalek vs. Pyramids match, international referee Mohamed Maarouf will officiate, assisted by Sami Halhal and Tarek Mostafa. Hossam Azab will be in charge of VAR, assisted by Sherif Abdullah, while Zayed Al Nuaimi will be the fourth official.
It is noted that the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup final will be officiated by a foreign referee who will be determined later, while the third and fourth place match will be officiated by an Emirati refereeing team.
