Zamalek succeeded in reaching the final of the 2024 African Confederation Cup, after defeating Ghana’s Dreams 3-0 in the second leg of the semi-final, which was held at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The first leg at Cairo International Stadium ended in a goalless draw, and despite the difficulties expected in the second leg, the White Knight succeeded in achieving a broad victory and reaching the final for the second time in its history.

The Zamalek hat-trick came through Hamza Mathlouthi, Samson Akinola, and Mustafa Shalabi, and with it, the dreams of Jose Gomez’s battalion increased in achieving the second African title after the first title achieved by Christian Gross’s battalion at the time in 2019.

In the following lines, we will learn together about who will face Zamalek in the 2024 African Confederation Cup final, the date of the confrontation, and all the details you need in this regard.

Who is Zamalek’s opponent in the 2024 Confederation Cup final?

Zamalek will face RS Berkane in the 2024 Confederation Cup final, after the Moroccan club crossed the gate of the defending champion, Ittihad Al-Capital, in the semi-finals.

The first leg was not played in Algeria due to a political crisis, which resulted in RS Berkane’s 3-0 victory being counted, before USM Algiers withdrew from the return match in Morocco.
