You are the referee.. Did Liverpool deserve a penalty kick against Manchester City? (video)

A very controversial shot came in the last minute of the Liverpool and Manchester City match in the English Premier League, the hero of which was referee Michael Oliver and the video technology.

The result was a 1-1 draw between the two teams, amid many missed opportunities on both sides, and at the last minute things almost turned upside down.

Jeremy Doku forcefully tackled McAllister inside the penalty area, in a shot that many see as a penalty kick for Liverpool.

The referee, at first glance, refused to award the ball, then resorted to video technology to confirm his decision, and despite the clarity of Doku’s assault on Alastair, the VAR confirmed Michael Oliver’s decision.

Because of this decision, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, and with it Liverpool reached the 64th point, equal to Arsenal, with the Gunners having the advantage on goal difference.

As for Manchester City, it occupies third place with 63 points, and its next match will be against leaders Arsenal next Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.
