Many rumors have spread in the past few days about Mostafa Mohamed returning to the Egyptian League through Al-Ahly or Zamalek.
The Egyptian striker is one of Zamalek’s sons before leaving in 2022 for Galatasaray, and from there he moved to Nantes, France.
There is no doubt that Mostafa Mohamed went through a difficult period in France in the past months that made him want to leave, but he did not find the right club and before things were fixed between him and his club last week.
However, the rumors about the negotiations between the two clubs to obtain his services did not stop, so the decisive response came about the truth of that and ended the controversy.
The media figure Ahmed Shobeir, who is close to the Al-Ahly administration, confirmed that everything that was said about negotiations between the Red Giant and Mostafa Mohamed is completely false.
At the same time, Medhat El-Adl, a member of the Investment Committee at Zamalek, revealed that the White Club has actually contacted the player in the hope of bringing him back to Mit Okba.
But in this context, Mostafa Mohamed’s response was clear that he wants to complete his career in Europe and not return to Egypt now, and Nantes does not intend to sell him for less than 10 million euros.
It remains to be noted that Mostafa Mohamed scored two goals over the last week for Nantes in Lyon and Reims, and coach Antoine Komparier confirmed his continuation until the end of the season at least.
