Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga is rejecting the idea of leaving the club this summer, despite receiving offers from several major European clubs.
The French international is experiencing the worst period of his career after being sent off during the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich, a match that contributed to Real Madrid’s elimination from the competition and their second consecutive year without a trophy.
Recently, Camavinga has lost the confidence of his coach, Álvaro Arbeloa, and has found himself relegated to the bench, with other options like the young Thiago Pitarch preferred. It has also been reported that Real Madrid’s management is now open to selling him.
However, according to Marca, Camavinga refuses to give up and prefers to stay with Real Madrid next season and fight for his starting position, starting with the remaining seven matches of the current season.
Camavinga has no intention of complacency for fear of injuries or missing the 2026 World Cup. He will give his all to send a clear message to Real Madrid’s management that he is capable of regaining his form and to convince them to reconsider selling him.
Paris Saint-Germain is the most interested in signing the 23-year-old, while Liverpool has also emerged as a club keen on acquiring the former Rennes player.
Camavinga’s departure would undoubtedly bring in a substantial sum, with his transfer fee expected to be no less than €80 million. This amount would contribute to rebuilding the midfield, as desired by President Florentino Pérez.
However, the player will ultimately fight to prevent this from happening and to be the primary solution to the crisis that has existed since the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
