FIFA awarded the Best Players of the 2025 Club World Cup awards immediately after Chelsea won the title against Paris Saint-Germain, defeating the French club 3-0 in the final.
As expected, Chelsea dominated the awards as the defending champions, and in such situations, the best player is usually taken from the winning team.
Chelsea star Cole Palmer won the Best Player award at the 2025 Club World Cup after scoring three goals in the competition, in addition to providing two assists, and he also had three goal contributions in the final against PSG.
Meanwhile, Robert Sanchez won the Best Goalkeeper award, beating Gianluigi Donnarumma for his impressive performance in the final and his success in keeping a clean sheet.
The Best Young Player award went to Paris Saint-Germain’s Desiree Doue, who scored one goal in seven World Cup matches.
It should be noted that the top scorer award was shared by four players: Gonzalo Garcia, Serhou Guirassy, Marcos Leonardo, and Ángel Di María. However, the Real Madrid star won first place due to scoring all of the goals, excluding penalties, as Los Blancos reached the semi-finals and the rest were eliminated early.
