Mohamed Salah achieved an unexpected achievement in the Liverpool and Nottingham Forest match on Saturday in the Premier League.
Liverpool suffered their first defeat of the season at Anfield thanks to a goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi in the last minutes.
For the first time, Salah failed to score or assist, however, the Reds fans greatly appreciated his efforts and efforts against Nottingham.
Usually, one of the players on the winning team wins the Man of the Match award by fans’ vote, and it was expected that Odoi would achieve this title after the goal.
But surprisingly, the fans’ vote via the official Premier League website was in favor of Mohamed Salah, to be crowned as the man of the match that Liverpool lost, which is a rare and unexpected achievement.
Salah won 45.5% of the votes, then Odoi came in second place with 37.2% and finally Alisson with only 4.6%.
It is noteworthy that this is the fourth time in a row that Salah has won the Man of the Match award this season with the Reds in the Premier League.
