The renowned Italian coach Fabio Capello attacked the legendary Ronaldo Nazario, claiming that he thought only of women during his time at Real Madrid.
During Capello’s tenure as Real Madrid coach, Ronaldo was one of the club’s biggest stars from 2002 until his departure in January 2007, reportedly at the behest of the Italian coach.
When asked about his opinion of Ronaldo, Capello replied, “He didn’t train properly and dragged his teammates down with him, so I made the decision to let him go in collaboration with the president.”
He added, “He was a negative leader. He’s a good player, but not a role model, because he was always at nightclubs, he gained weight, and all he thought about was women.”

Capello revealed that Ronaldo was also dishonest, recalling an incident upon his arrival in Spain when he asked the player about his weight. Ronaldo replied that he weighed 84 kilograms, while his actual weight at the time was 94 kilograms.
Ronaldo played 177 matches for Real Madrid across all competitions, scoring 104 goals and providing 34 assists. He then moved to AC Milan, where he only played 20 matches, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists.
