Revealing the value of the financial prizes in the 2025 Club World Cup

After much controversy, Marca newspaper revealed the value of the financial prizes that the teams participating in the 2025 Club World Cup in the United States of America will receive.

Five Arab teams are participating in the competition: Al-Ahly of Egypt, Wydad of Morocco, Esperance of Tunisia, Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, and Al-Ain of the Emirates.

The total financial prizes for the competition will be 929 million euros, noting that it is expected, according to Gianni Infantino, that the competition will bring in profits estimated at 2 billion euros thanks to the broadcast agreement and contracts with brands to sponsor the tournament.

500 million euros will be distributed to the 32 participating clubs, while the remaining 429 will be distributed according to the results.

Each of the 32 participating clubs will receive 10 million dollars, confirmed for participation.

FIFA has allocated 284 million euros, or 65% of the total (500 million euros), to be distributed among European clubs. Real Madrid will receive 35 million euros alone as the club that receives the most financial returns for participation.

Achieving a win in the group stage will mean that the winner will receive 2 million euros, a draw will be worth 1 million euros, reaching the round of 16 will be worth 7 million euros, with 12 million euros in the quarter-finals, 20 million euros in the semi-finals, and reaching the final alone will guarantee an additional 28 million euros, while winning the title will mean a special prize worth 37 million euros.
