Real Madrid Complete Deal to Re-sign Nico Paz from Como

When Paz was sold to Como two years ago, a clause was included allowing the “Merengues” to reclaim the player for a relatively low fee, reportedly no more than €20 million.

Mourinho Approves the Return of the Rising Star

Following a stellar season in Italy, Florentino Pérez decided to bring the playmaker back to the Santiago Bernabéu to bolster the attacking midfield. This move has received a warm welcome from the club’s incoming manager, Jose Mourinho.

According to AS, the buy-back option remains valid until June 30th, dismissing rumors that the clause would expire before the conclusion of the club elections. Once Pérez is officially confirmed as the winner on June 7th, the club will announce both Nico Paz’s signing and Mourinho’s official appointment.

Paz Rejects Tottenham to Fulfill Real Madrid Dream

Nico Paz’s loyalty to Real Madrid was evident last summer when he rejected a massive €80 million offer from Tottenham Hotspur. The 21-year-old preferred to stay at Como for an extra year to prove his worth to the Madrid board. His bet paid off; after scoring 13 goals and providing 6 assists this season, he has secured his dream return to the Spanish capital.
