There’s no doubt that Real Madrid’s management is deeply dissatisfied with the way Vinicius Junior expressed his anger at being substituted in El Clásico, but the club’s players don’t share Florentino Pérez’s view.
This was confirmed by the program “El Chiringuito,” which emphasized that the relationship between Vinicius and the rest of Real Madrid’s stars remains strong and healthy, and that the events in El Clásico have not affected it at all.
Real Madrid’s management expected Vinicius to behave more disciplinedly, given that he is the team’s third captain and should set an example for the rest of the players. However, they do not intend to punish him and will leave the matter to coach Xabi Alonso.
As for the players, the Brazilian international maintains his position as one of the most beloved players in the dressing room, enjoying great support from everyone, and there are no grudges or objections from the players regarding his actions.
Real Madrid players seem to be clearly aware that Vinicius’ anger during El Clásico was justified and that he wanted to continue on the pitch, given his outstanding performance throughout the match. Therefore, there’s no need to make a big deal out of it.
Xabi Alonso’s stance on Vinicius remains unknown. The coach tried to downplay the incident to the media after El Clásico, but it’s expected that he will take disciplinary action against the player, especially since their relationship has not been good so far.
