Officially… Al Hilal confirms the absence of its star from the Al Ain match

Al Hilal announced in an official statement the absence of its player Nasser Al Dosari from facing Al Ain in the first leg of the AFC Champions League semi-final, due to injury.

The Blue Wave is scheduled to meet the Emirati club on Tuesday at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, and will meet them at Kingdom Arena the following week.

According to the statement, Al-Dosari suffered an injury to his anterior thigh muscle, and because of it, he will not be available in the first leg, at the very least.

Al-Dosari’s injury occurred during his participation in Al-Hilal’s most recent tournament, the Saudi Super Cup, when coach Jorge Jesus’ squad won 4-1 over Al-Ittihad in the final match.

Al Hilal hopes to cross the Al Ain Gate and reach the final match, where it will face the winner of Ulsan, South Korea, and Yokohama Marinos, Japan.

It remains to be noted that Al Hilal did not suffer any defeat in any official match this season, achieved the Super Cup title and was practically close to clinching the Saudi League title in its favor.
