Real Madrid’s management is currently evaluating the identity of the team’s new coach for next season after definitively deciding to end Alvaro Arbeloa’s tenure at the end of the current season.

According to Romano, Mourinho has informed those close to him that he would like a second chance with Real Madrid, and this desire has been conveyed directly to the Merengues’ management.

Perez’s administration has not yet taken any steps in response to this desire; they are simply aware of Mourinho’s interest and are still waiting before deciding on the new coach.

Spanish media outlets indicate that the Special One is not the favorite to coach Los Blancos after Arbeloa, as Jurgen Klopp remains the preferred choice, followed by Mauricio Pochettino, who seems the most likely candidate at the moment.

It is worth noting that Mourinho’s contract with Benfica ends on May 17, after which he will hold a meeting with the Portuguese club’s management to decide his fate by activating the renewal clause for another year, or terminating the contract peacefully.
