Real Madrid star Luka Modric has left the door open to a move to Milan or any other club, indicating that he has not yet made a decision regarding his future.
The Croatian international announced his departure from Real Madrid after a legendary 13-year career. Since then, he has been inundated with offers, the latest of which came from Milan.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Modric has already accepted Milan’s offer and will wear the Rossoneri shirt next season. However, the 38-year-old has so far denied this.
When asked about Milan’s offer, Modric replied, “I can’t say anything about my future right now.”
He added, “There have been contacts and conversations, but I preferred to postpone everything to focus on the national team and my future with Real Madrid.”
He concluded, “I haven’t made any decisions yet, and that’s the only truth. I don’t know when I’ll make a decision.”
After completing his international training camp with the Croatian national team, Modric will travel with Real Madrid to the United States to participate in the Club World Cup, after which an official announcement is expected.
