Kylian Mbappe scored two goals and led Paris Saint-Germain to victory over host Real Sociedad 2-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League.
The French club had won the first leg at Princes Park Stadium 2-0, advancing to the quarter-finals on aggregate 4-1.
Unlike the French League matches, Mbappe participated in the match from the first minute until the last and was its first undisputed champion.
The 25-goal scorer scored the first goal in the 15th minute, then killed Sociedad’s hopes of returning with a second goal in the 56th minute.
Mbappe raised his tally of goals in the Champions League this season to 6 goals, topping the list of “With Ears” scorers, one goal ahead of the closest pursuers.
