Kylian Mbappé continued celebrating Real Madrid’s El Clásico victory off the pitch, appearing in a video call that delivered a sarcastic message aimed at Barcelona.
Foot Mercato published the details of the clip, which brought together the French forward and comedian Ilyes Djadel, alongside content creator Noah Lunsi and comedian Redouane Bougheraba.
During the call, Mbappé said, “Normal!”, repeating the French word in a celebratory tone as he commented on his side’s victory coming away from Spotify Camp Nou.
The France captain was the architect of Madrid’s 2-1 triumph, opening the scoring in the first half before returning to net the decisive winner late in the match, following Raphinha’s equalizer for Barcelona.
The winning goal originated from a brilliant piece of individual skill by Jude Bellingham, before moving through Arda Güler to Eduardo Camavinga, who beat Pau Cubarsí and set up Mbappé to finish in front of goal.
The brace carried special significance for the French superstar, pushing him to 100 goals in a Real Madrid shirt while elevating his tally for the current season to 14 goals in 13 matches across all competitions.
Mbappé boasts a remarkable goalscoring record against Barcelona, having netted 14 goals in 11 appearances across his spells with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, despite his team record in those matches standing at four wins, one draw, and six defeats.
The victory handed Real Madrid a major boost in the La Liga title race, raising their tally to 24 points—just three behind leaders Barcelona—and ending the Catalan side’s unbeaten run in the competition this season.
