Omar Marmoush continued to shine with Eintracht Frankfurt, after scoring two goals and making two assists in his team’s match against Holstein Kiel on Sunday.
The Egyptian international opened the scoring for his team in the 25th minute, and after Kiel equalized twice, Marmoush succeeded in giving Frankfurt the advantage with a third goal in the 65th minute, in the match that the “Eagles” won 4-2.
Marmoush raised his scoring tally after 5 rounds of the Bundesliga to 6 goals, to top the competition’s scorers list, surpassing Bayern Munich star Harry Kane, who has scored 5 goals so far.
Marmoush also became the player with the most scoring contributions in the Bundesliga this season, tied with Kane with 9 goals, by scoring 6 and making 3 assists.
On a personal level, Marmoush achieved a special achievement after scoring for the fourth consecutive match in the Bundesliga for the first time in his career, in addition to it being the first time he made 4 scoring contributions in one match.
It is worth noting that Marmoush refused to leave Frankfurt in the last days of the summer Mercato despite receiving a tempting offer from Nottingham Forest.
Marmoush joined Frankfurt after the end of his contract in Wolfsburg, and he has always stressed that he dreams of playing in the Premier League like Mohamed Salah, and in light of his brilliance this season, the dream may soon come true.
