Manchester City star is recovering and is ready for the Real Madrid match

AS newspaper reported that Manchester City star Kyle Walker has recovered from his injury and is ready to participate against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

The English defender was injured while participating with his country’s national team during the last international break, and because of it he has not returned to the stadiums yet.

When Pep Guardiola was asked in the press conference for the Luton Town match about the extent of Walker’s recovery, he said that he did not know and refused to give a clear answer in this regard.

But according to AS, Walker has fully recovered from his injury and can lead City’s defense against Real Madrid.

The player’s participation against Luton remains questionable, as there is no intention to risk him until he is at full strength when his team hosts Real Madrid at Etihad Stadium.

At the same time, Guardiola stressed that goalkeeper Ederson will participate against Luton, and consequently he will be the one who will protect the team against Real Madrid after his replacement Stefan Ortega participated in the first leg.

Thus, Manchester City has one absence that is practically ineffective, and that is centre-back Nathan Ake.
