Liverpool Makes Exceptional Decision Regarding Diogo Jota’s Family

Record reported that Liverpool’s management has taken a new decision in solidarity with Diogo Jota’s family following his death and that of his brother in a horrific accident in Spain.

The English club had previously announced the permanent retirement of the number 20 shirt, which Jota wore for four years with the Reds, in commemoration of his passing at Anfield.

The second decision by Liverpool is to continue paying Jota’s salary to his family for the remaining two years of his contract.

Many Liverpool officials and stars traveled to Gondomar, Portugal, to attend Jota and his brother’s funeral, and the club is also planning to bid farewell to the player at Anfield in the coming weeks.

Jota died in Zamora, Spain, while driving a Lamborghini after a tire burst, causing the car to veer off the road, roll, and catch fire.

Many stars expressed their shock at the devastating news, most notably Mohamed Salah, who said he couldn’t imagine what Liverpool would be like without Jota.
