Vardy’s contract with Cremonese expired in July after he made 29 appearances across all competitions for the Italian side, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists—a return that demonstrated his enduring threat in front of goal despite his advancing age.
Burnley hope to capitalize on Vardy’s experience during their EFL Championship campaign following their relegation from the Premier League last season.
