AS newspaper revealed that Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos will be unable to participate in Sunday’s match against Getafe after sustaining a sudden injury in the last few hours.
Ceballos’ injury has been diagnosed as a strain in his left hamstring muscle, requiring rest and intensive treatment. He will not be available for the upcoming match against Getafe.
At the same time, there are doubts that the Spanish international will be able to play against Juventus on Wednesday, but he is expected to be ready for the match against Barcelona on Sunday, October 26, at the Santiago Bernabéu.
While Real Madrid lost Ceballos to Getafe, the good news is that Kylian Mbappé and Franco Mastrantuono have returned to training without any injuries and will lead Xabi Alonso’s squad for the mini-Madrid derby.
Brazilian Endrick is also expected to be 100% fit to play, while Ferland Mendy has also made his return and could be on the bench for the Getafe match.
Dean Huijsen will almost certainly not feature against Getafe or Juventus, and Real Madrid is currently preparing him for El Clásico. However, it seems likely that the former Bournemouth defender will not be available against Barcelona.
