Thierry Henry, coach of the French Olympic team, will try to convince Real Madrid’s management to send its stars to his team for the 2024 Paris Olympics, despite the Royal Club’s strict refusal to do so.
According to what Le Parisien newspaper reported, Real Madrid sent an official letter to the French Football Federation informing it of its refusal to include Ferland Mendy and Eduardo Camavinga in the Olympic team at the Olympics.
Spanish media reported that Real Madrid also informed Kylian Mbappe that he would not be allowed to participate in the Olympics if he joined the Merengue as expected next summer.
The Real Madrid management fears that Pedri’s scenario will be repeated, when he participated in the Olympics and the Euro in 2021, and with it his muscles were affected by the pressures and his injuries increased exaggeratedly.
Despite all this, Henry still believes in his ability to include Mbappe, Camavinga and Mendy from Real Madrid, and plans to hold talks with Spanish club officials to change their minds in the coming period.
The French Federation, accompanied by Henry, will also try to change Real Madrid’s position on the matter, by emphasizing that fatigue will not affect the players, and the minutes of participation will be distributed so as not to increase the physical loads.
