Happy news for Arsenal… 5 huge absences hit Bayern Munich!

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel announced that 5 players are threatened not to participate in the Bavarian club’s match against Arsenal in the Champions League, due to injury.

Bayern Munich is scheduled to meet Heidenheim on Saturday in the Bundesliga, before visiting Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

According to Tuchel, Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sane, Alex Pavlovic and Nassir Mazraoui are suffering from various injuries and will not participate against Heidenheim.

Perhaps the biggest blow is that Manuel Neuer has not yet recovered either, having been absent since his injury during the last international break with the German national team.

The quintet will not participate in the Heidenheim match, and according to Tuchel, all of their participation against Arsenal is also highly doubtful.

The least of these injuries is the young man Pavlovic, who is suffering from a severe cold and is expected to play against Arsenal. As for the rest, their situation remains ambiguous so far.

It is noteworthy that the Champions League is Bayern Munich’s last hope this season, after practically losing the Bundesliga title, with the difference between Bayern and leader Bayer Leverkusen rising to 13 points.
