Alejandro Camano, the player’s agent, did not rule out a return to Real Madrid for Achraf Hakimi, but indicated that his client is currently very happy at Paris Saint-Germain.
Hakimi began his career with Real Madrid before moving to Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan, ultimately becoming one of Paris Saint-Germain’s key players over the past three years.
The idea of signing Hakimi for Real Madrid has been raised several times, as a potential replacement for the 34-year-old Dani Carvajal, who is expected to retire soon.
When asked about the possibility of Hakimi returning to the Spanish giants, Camano replied, “He is very happy at Paris Saint-Germain.”
He added, “Hakimi is under contract until 2029, but in football, nothing is impossible. Real Madrid is his home.”
At the moment, Real Madrid’s signing of Hakimi seems impossible. The Moroccan star is a key pillar of Luis Enrique’s squad, and the relationship between Florentino Pérez’s administration and Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s administration is strained, making it difficult to negotiate for any star player after the Kylian Mbappé saga in 2024.
Hakimi was awarded the African Player of the Year award just hours ago, after leading PSG to a historic treble in the 2024-25 season.
