Guardiola announces the return of the Manchester City star

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola confirmed the return of his goalkeeper Ederson to training and the possibility of him playing against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has been absent for more than a month after suffering an injury during the City-Liverpool match, and he was replaced during that period by German goalkeeper Stefan Ortega.

City is preparing to face Crystal Palace on Saturday, and then travel to the Spanish capital to face Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next Tuesday.

At the press conference for the Palace match, Guardiola announced that Ederson had recovered and could be on City’s roster to face the London club.

This means that Ederson will be on the list traveling to Madrid, unless a setback or something unexpected happens to him, and he is expected to start unless Guardiola has another opinion.

But at the same time, Guardiola revealed that Nathan Ake is still out of the calculations after his recent injury, and the same goes for Kyle Walker, who is unlikely to join the Real Madrid summit.

It is noteworthy that City have just regained the services of John Stones after he was recently absent due to an injury during the friendly match between England and Belgium.
