First loss: Real Madrid star will miss the Bayern Munich match

Real Madrid will lose the services of its star Dani Carvajal to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals.

The Spanish full-back’s absence will be due to him receiving a yellow card in the Manchester City quarter-final match, which was his second, and with it he will be suspended for one match.

Carvajal participated for 110 minutes in the City match, before asking to leave due to fatigue and injury.

The 32-year-old, returning from a cruciate ligament injury, was replaced by Eder Militao, and it is likely that Carlo Ancelotti may turn to the Brazilian against Bayern to make up for the major absence.

At the same time, the option of relying on Lucas Vazquez, due to his experience and ability to play on the right front and provide offensive solutions, remains strongly on the Italian coach’s table.

It remains to be noted that, in addition to Carvajal, Real Madrid will miss the services of the duo Thibaut Courtois and David Alaba due to injury against Bayern Munich.
