Andrey Lunin was unable to participate in Real Madrid’s training session open to the media on Monday due to a sudden injury.
According to coach Carlo Ancelotti, the Ukrainian goalkeeper is suffering from a fever, a few days before the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund next Saturday.
At the same time, the Italian stressed that he is not concerned about the possibility of Lunin participating in the final, as he is expected to recover within a very short period of time from the fever.
Ancelotti has not yet decided on the identity of Real Madrid’s goalkeeper against Dortmund after the return of Thibaut Courtois and the good levels he presented in the last month at the same time as Lunin’s exceptional brilliance throughout this season.
It remains to be noted that Real Madrid will enter the final without David Alaba and Aurelien Chouamini due to injury, other than that, the entire roster is available for Ancelotti.
