Al-Ahly player Emam Ashour was subjected to chants from Zamalek fans after the end of the two teams’ match at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
Zamalek won on penalties and was crowned champion of the local Super Cup in the match in which Imam Ashour participated as a starter and was substituted in the 65th minute.
After the match and during the celebration of Zamalek fans, some of them chanted against Ashour, who previously played for Zamalek from 2019 to 2023.
The Egyptian international responded by pointing to the Al-Ahly logo and chanting “Number One”
Another Al-Ahly star who previously played for Zamalek, Kahraba, was next to Emam Ashour and urged him to leave the stadium and stop interacting with the opponent’s fans.
In another photo, Emam Ashour also appeared sticking his tongue out at the white fans.
The shot says it all.
