Cristiano Ronaldo bids farewell to Toni Kroos in his own way

Former Real Madrid star and current Saudi Al-Nassr player, Cristiano Ronaldo, was keen to send a farewell message to Toni Kroos after the German star announced his retirement from football.

Ronaldo played with Kroos for four years, specifically from the time the German moved to Real Madrid in 2014 until the Don left for Juventus in the summer of 2018.

In the post in which Kroos announced his retirement, Ronaldo wrote to him, “Thank you for everything, Tony! What an honor to be your partner on the field… All the best to you in the future.”

Kroos and Ronaldo enjoyed a good relationship. The evidence of this is that Kroos stressed that a large part of Real Madrid’s successes during 4 years was thanks to the Portuguese and that the team was greatly affected when he left.

Over the course of 10 years with Real Madrid, Kroos achieved 22 championships, and now he is seeking to achieve his last title when the Royal Club plays against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final.

It remains to be noted that Kroos, before retiring, will play in Euro 2024 with the German national team, where the German national team will meet in groups with Hungary, Switzerland and Scotland.
