Courtois announces the date of his return to participate with Real Madrid again

Thibaut Courtois, Real Madrid goalkeeper, announced that he is close to returning to participate with the Royal Club again after the setback he recently suffered.

At the beginning of the season, Courtois suffered a cruciate ligament tear, and after he recovered and was preparing to return, he suffered another knee injury last March, after which he underwent surgery.

As the Belgian goalkeeper announced, he will return to training again with Real Madrid at the end of this April.

This means that if Real Madrid qualify for the Champions League final scheduled for early June, there is a chance the Belgian will be available either as a first-choice goalkeeper – an unlikely idea – or at least on the bench.

Courtois may participate at least once this season in a La Liga match before the end of the competition on May 18.

It is noteworthy that the 31-year-old goalkeeper did not participate in any matches this season due to injury, and was replaced by Kepa, who was loaned from Chelsea, and then Andrey Lunin succeeded in establishing his foundations in protecting the Royal Club since last November.
