Chelsea dismisses Pochettino, and reveals who is closest to succeeding him

The Chelsea management took a surprising decision to dismiss coach Mauricio Pochettino from his position after a single season in charge of leading the Blues.

The coach was informed of the decision, and it was agreed to terminate the contract by mutual consent between the two parties, with the Argentine receiving large financial compensation for his early departure.

As revealed by the English media, the Chelsea management was not satisfied with the past season, and after analysis, it decided that it needed a young coach of a different quality than Pochettino.

Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Thomas Tuchel’s return to Chelsea could happen, two years after his shock sacking once Todd Puele took charge of the Blues.

Another name that stands out is Hansi Flick, who Bild says is interested in the job and wants to take on a new coaching challenge in the English Premier League.

Other names were put forward, such as Sebastian Hoeneß, leader of the Stuttgart revolution, and Mitchell, who led Girona to third place in La Liga, as well as McKenna, who led Ipswich Town to ascend to the Premier League.

It is worth noting that Chelsea started the season well, but over time it succeeded in developing significantly until it ranked sixth and with it returned to European participation through the Europa League portal.

It is also worth noting that the Blues lost the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool, and then were eliminated from the FA Cup in the semi-finals by Manchester City.
