Barcelona Renews Lamine Yamal’s Contract Until 2031

Barcelona’s management has finalized an agreement with Lamine Yamal to renew his contract for an additional six years.

This was confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, who noted a meeting between Jorge Mendes, Yamal’s agent, and Barça’s management to agree on the new contract.

Without any significant hiccups, the two parties reached an agreement under which Yamal will become one of the highest-paid players at the Catalan club.

The new contract is expected to be officially announced within a few days, but it will not be finalized until next July, when Yamal turns 18.

It is reported that Yamal’s salary will be €8 million after taxes, placing him second only to Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, and Ter Stegen.

Yamal has repeatedly stated that he has no intention of leaving Barcelona and wants to make history with the Catalan club despite the financial temptations outside Camp Nou.

Yamal is the youngest player to participate in an official match in Barcelona’s history, having played 106 matches, scoring 25 goals and providing 34 assists.
