The Swedish international joined the Blaugrana from FC Copenhagen for €2.5 million last summer, with high expectations, and he did perform well in his early days with Barça.

However, over time, Bardghji failed to convince coach Hansi Flick of his abilities and spent most of his time on the bench, prompting him to speak to the media and clearly state his dissatisfaction with his current situation.

Sport indicates that the most likely course of action was to loan the 20-year-old to a club where he could be guaranteed regular playing time next season, but in recent days the club has become open to a permanent sale.

The player of Syrian descent will be available in the transfer market for just €10 million. Joan Laporta’s administration believes they will make a good profit from the sale at this price, especially since Flick doesn’t intend to rely on him in the short term, and the presence of Lamine Yamal makes it practically impossible for Bardghji to play regularly.

The player has been linked with several major European clubs, with Juventus being the most eager to secure his services. It has also been reported that Stuttgart is considering a loan move.

Barcelona will leave the decision to the player regarding a permanent transfer to another club, or going on loan and then returning after a year or two to fight for a starting position at Camp Nou.
